Often, people feel excluded from the pursuit of science because it feels as though the discipline is reserved for an elite few. They feel as though history does not tell their story. The California Imagist Movement bridges these gaps by talking about science in a more humane way and empowering people to learn about and tell their own histories, those that have often been forgotten.
